The same store that used the property of the movie theater "Orionza" that was open until the beginning of 1990. “When I was asked to use a movie theater, I really liked music, so I thought of using it as a live house,” said Makoto Okawa, a store owner who runs a real estate business.

Looking back 20 years, various artists have visited. According to Mr. Okawa, when the Michel Gun Elephant performed live, there was a risk that the floor would fall out, so it was said that the pillars were reinforced under the floor, and the pillars are still used today. A movie theater screen is left behind the stage, and contemporary artist Hirotomo Nara Yoshitomo sometimes performed DJs while projecting his own work.

"Amazarashi from Aomori was active at this live house before his debut," Okawa said. "Living houses, unlike concert halls and arena venues, are a place where guests and performers can communicate. Live music is a place that appeals to emotions and is also a place to nurture people."

Hiroki Takatori, the store manager, has been going to college since he was a university student and used it in his band activities. "I've been a store manager since graduating from university. Recently, I've come from outside the prefecture to use it for recordings, and sometimes the best jackets have live photos from them," says Takatori, who smiles. .. "I'm still 20 years. I want to leave it as a place to transmit music in the future."

The 20th anniversary live will be held 5 times until November. On the first day, hardcore bands "SLANG" from Sapporo, Hokkaido, "IDORA" from Tokyo, punk band "SPN POWER" from Hirosaki, and hardcore band "kallaqri" from Aomori will appear.

On October 14th and 15th, 20 pairs of local bands will be performing under the title "At The Local". October 29th is a one-man live "~ Far East Frontline / Tour 2017 ~ Our Son's SON GentoJIYU ~" by eastern youth, and November 2nd is a release commemorative one-man tour from Hirosaki's band human chair "From a different dimension" After the screening of the movie "SHIDAMYOJIN" on November 12, a commemorative live performance will be held by Mikiro Endo's folk song punk band "Myoda Shinyo" and Tatetakako.
