On August 17, the old furniture store "Gallery Jirokan 2" (Horikoshi, Hirosaki City) opened in Hirosaki City.

The same store opened on the premises of "Gallery Jirokan", which has a gallery and a gallery of lacquer craftsman Jiro Tateyama. We handle kimono and old miscellaneous goods mainly on Japanese antique furniture. An old folk house built in the early Showa period in which Tateyama's relatives lived was renovated.

Nakamitsu Hirosaki store (Dotemachi) and Aomori store (Furukawa, Aomori city) Takamitsu Sato of "RandBEAN" dealing with antique furniture was involved in the establishment of the store. “In our shop, which deals with Western-style old furniture, arranging Japanese-style furniture didn't fit the image,” says Sato. After consulting with Mr. Tateyama about the increase in Japanese-style furniture, he said that he decided to rent a place to handle old furniture at the same Japanese house.

In the store, in addition to arranging more than 50 items collected by Mr. Sato, there is a record viewing room where you can bring in and listen to records. Mr. Tateyama says, “Because it doesn't bother my neighborhood, I can listen at a loud volume.” Free to use.
