Book cafe "ROTTO" (Daikanmachi, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-55-9174) opened in Hirosaki on April 29th.

The cafe opened on the second floor of the antique shop "rottodou". From March of this year, we started to remodel the Japanese-style room and stick to tables and chairs using the antique furniture collected at Lot-do. In addition to selling and selling used books in the store, you can also play back the records you brought in.

The manager, Maiko Yoshizawa, has been a staff member since the opening of the lotto hall in 2014, and he met with the owner Kenharu Koyamauchi in the pottery class opened by Mr. Koyamauchi. Mr. Yoshizawa smiles, "I had a dream to work at a cafe someday, but I hope it will come true in this way." Mr. Oyamauchi says, "I wanted to try a cafe that uses handmade containers from the beginning of the opening of Lot Do."

The drink menu is ice coffee (380 yen), coffee (350 yen), cafe latte (450 yen), flavored latte (480 yen), coffee float (450 yen). The sweets menu includes souffle cheesecake (350 yen), crepes (380 yen and up), and coffee jelly (380 yen).

Mr. Yoshizawa says, "In the future, I would like to increase the number of lunch menus and desserts such as curry, and do the evening sales that serve alcohol and snacks."
