Kudopan (Aomori City) started selling the new product "British French Toast (European curry)" on June 1.

British French toast is a sister series of local bread "British toast" in Aomori. When the sale started in 2013, the voices such as "British? France? Which one?" came out, and it became a hot topic to be introduced even in the TV station in Tokyo.

European-style beef curry sandwiched with two English breads soaked in French liquid and baked. It was developed to have a lower calorie than other bread products to make it easier for women to eat, and it has been reduced to 187 kcal. Regarding the European curry, Kato Hirai of Kudo Pan said, "I just repeated the trial production and chose the curry that worked best."

“There was a theory that the route that curry food was introduced to Japan was India, France, England, and Japan, but I was not aware of it. It seems that it has a good compatibility with French toast because there are raw eggs to eat curry. I thought.”

The series is launching new products such as "ham cheese" and "condensed milk" one after another. Last month, we just re-sold "pizza style", which was talked about as "too multinational" last year.
