The first rice field art venue at the village office of Inakadate/Inakadate (Inakadate Village) started open to the public on May 30.

The rice field art of the village, which draws pictures and letters using 12 kinds of rice in 7 colors, is held at 2 venues every year. This year's theme is 1st rice field art venue = NHK taiga drama "From Sanadamaru, Mitsunari Ishida and Masayuki Sanada", 2nd rice field art venue = "Shin Godzilla".

Rice was planted by the participants of the open call for participants on the "rice planting experience tour" held on May 29, and only "Sanada Maru" was opened to the public on the 30th of the next day.

In the left part, the symbol of Ishida Mitsunari and the family crest "Daichi Daiman Daikichi" and the title of "Sanada Maru" played by Koji Yamamoto are drawn on the left part, and on the right part Masayuki Kusagi and Masayuki Sanada and Rokubunsen are drawn. Draw a flag, Osaka Castle.

From this year, the 1st rice field art venue has a new observation deck on the 4th floor of about 40 tsubo, and a handrail has a glass-covered corner so that it can be easily seen by wheelchair visitors. I changed to the same observation deck.

The second rice field art venue will be planted on June 7th and 8th, and open to the public from June 18th. The best time to see rice field art is from mid-July to mid-August.

Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm. Entrance fee is 300 yen for the 4th floor observation deck and 200 yen for the 6th floor castle tower. 100 yen for children (elementary school students). Free for preschoolers.
