On April 3, a ``HIRAKAWA stand'' wrapped with an illustration from the anime ``Old Man and Grandma Get Younger'' was set up in the ``Fratto Hiroba'' of the main building of Hirakawa City Hall (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture).

"Grandpa Grandpa Rejuvenates" is an anime based on a manga by Hirakawa-born manga artist Araidokagiri, and will begin airing on April 7th. To coincide with the start of the broadcast, Hirakawa City adopted an illustration from the anime on the back of the ``HIRAKAWA Stand'' to promote the work.

Shintou made his debut as a manga artist while attending Hirosaki University. "Grandpa and Grandpa Rejuvenate" is a comedy manga set in Aomori about an elderly couple who have become rejuvenated. It has been posted on X (formerly Twitter) and pixiv since October 2019, and has recorded a cumulative total of 100 million page views on pixiv. It is currently being serialized in Comic Aruna (KADOKAWA).

``HIRAKAWA Stand'' is a photo spot stand with a total width of 12 meters and a height of 1.75 meters that was installed inside the government building in September last year. On the front, landscapes and special products representative of Hirakawa City are wrapped in letters.

In addition to displaying original collaboration visual posters around the city, Hirakawa City will also install the ``Golden Apple'' that appears in the work on the circle bench on the 4th floor of the main government building, as well as character panels at the entrance on the 1st floor. On the Konan Railway's Konan Line, which also appears in the story, there are currently cars in operation with illustrations from the anime wrapped around them.

A person in charge of Hirakawa City's Hirakawa Attractions Promotion Section says, ``We want to create excitement from the local area so that we can deliver our works to as many people as possible.''
