The final examination of the "32nd Hirosaki Castle Miss Sakura Contest" was held on April 10 at the Hirosaki Cultural Center (Shimohiragincho, Hirosaki City).

As a tourist ambassador, the contest focuses on four major festivals such as the "Hirosaki Sakura Festival" and the "Neputa Festival," and decides mistakes to send information to and from the prefecture for one year. For the 14 people who passed the first screening, 5 members of the committee, including Mayor Noriyuki Kasai as the chairman of the screening, conducted the screening.

I was assigned to Hirosaki, and moved last year. “At the time of the judging, my head became blank, and I didn't know what I was talking about,” says Mr. Yoneya. He said he was happy to be able to respond to the support of the company that recommended him and the parents who came from Hachinohe as a surprise.

Mayuko Kuruma, who was selected as Miss Sakura, is from Hirosaki and is currently a third year student at Hirosaki University.
