On February 29, the Hirosaki City Inn Hotel Association published a guidebook for women, the Hirosaki Women's Travel Book Third Edition.

This booklet has been published since 2012, with the theme of "Visit to Hirosaki to raise your feelings (women's power)". Planning and editing is performed by "Sakura Lady," which is made up of four female front staff members at the hotels affiliated with the association.

A member of Sakura Lady said, "I take advantage of the characteristics of working at the front desk, and I have the advantage of creating a magazine based on the voices of female tourists visiting Hirosaki from the front desk."

"Recently, there are many questions from female customers about how to get to the Starbucks Hirosaki store (Kamishiragincho, Hirosaki city)."

Opened in April 2015, the store is characterized by its classic appearance using the Former Army Eighth Division Commander's Office. "Especially during the entrance examination at Hirosaki University, a lot of questions were asked by the mothers who accompanied us as parents," he said. Another popular spot is the white dog art object "A to Z Memorial Dog," which is installed in the red brick warehouse in Yoshinocho Ryokuchi Park (Yoshinocho).

In the third edition, the page dealing with souvenirs has been completely redesigned. The members are confident, "This time, I was able to afford the editing work that was unfamiliar at first, and packed up the information that was unique to the members living in the local area." “It's mainly aimed at women, but recently there are also cases where male customers have it. I'm happy if it is useful for gift information for my wife and lover,” he smiles.

free. It will be installed at accommodation facilities in the city, Tokyo Tourist Information Center in Aomori Prefecture (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), Hakodate Exchange Center (Hakodate, Hokkaido), and will be distributed at various tourism events.
