On December 5th, the cafe ``CAFE & RESTAURANT BRICK'' (Yoshino-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-40-2775 ) adjacent to the Hirosaki Brick Warehouse Art Museum will celebrate Yoshitomo Nara's birthday by changing the glasses used in the shop. He clarified his reasoning on SNS.

It was revealed that the water glasses served at the store were design cups sold at the exhibition "YOSHITOMO NARA + graf A to Z" held 17 years ago in 2006 (Heisei 18). It was used in the cup sake ``Junmaishu A to Z Cup House'' created in collaboration with ``Rokka Sake Brewery'' (Miyaji Kawazoe). When Rokka Sake Brewery relocated in April of this year, 120 glasses made at that time were discovered and donated to the store.

There are three types of glasses: one depicting three girls standing next to a sleeping dog, Pup King, and the other depicting a smiling girl waiting for a glass.The exhibition logo is drawn on the back of the illustration. The store's official SNS made the announcement in celebration of Yoshitomo Nara's birthday, as it was December 5th.

Mayumi Naraoka, in charge of public relations for ``Brick'', was a member of the executive committee that hosted ``A to Z'' and was also in charge of public relations for the glass. ``I was happy that so many cups from that time were left, and I was happy to receive this honorable offer.I can only thank Yoshitomo Nara for kindly agreeing to use them,'' said Naraoka.

When they started serving water in designed cups, some customers asked where they sold it and some were nostalgic.
