Hiro Yagihashi, the representative of Hiroshi Yagihashi Advertising Photo Studio (Takada, Hirosaki City), publishes a photo book "Tsugaru Hirosaki 2-Hirosaki Alley Walk" (Shirakami Shoin) on December 28th.

A photo book with the theme of "the scenery of Hirosaki that I usually see". We record the back alley scenery of Hirosaki that Mr. Yagihashi took from last July.

Mr. Yagihashi started his studio, and this is his 35th year. He works on advertising photographs and shoots Hirosaki Sakura Festival and poster photographs of Hirosaki University. In editing the photo book, he carefully selected about 4000 pictures to 128.

Mr. Yagihashi said, “The reason was the“ Japan Town Walk Forum ”held in Hirosaki City in November 2012. I was asked to photograph the cityscape, but I photographed the city of Hirosaki as a job. It was the first time for me. " According to Hirosaki, not only tourist attractions, but also castle towns, historic street corners, and alleys that have the scent of life have many picturesque scenery just by looking up.

The photo book will also include poems on the theme of "Travel Man" and "City Woman". The back alley detective team leader Chikasuke Shikata and the freelance writer Yuka Sudo in the city were in charge of each. “I hurried to fill in the void created during the layout stage,” says Yagihashi. “I asked for a de-enka style conversation, but it is exactly as I imagined. It is more than the photo,” he said.

"I would be happy if you could take a look at the photo book and walk around Hirosaki on your own to take a picture of the city," he said. "There are three tips for finding a shooting spot. Shooting in the evening when you can hide extra things and walking with your feet. Finally, find the shooting spot with your own eyes without going through the viewfinder," he advises.

The price is 1,900 yen. Sold at bookstores in Aomori Prefecture.
