"Merry Kokeshi Trout! Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum Christmas Fair 2015" is currently being held at Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum (Kuroishi City, Aomori Prefecture).

This event collects Kokeshi with the theme of Christmas from 5 kinds of Kokeshi craftsmen nationwide, and displays and sells them. A "Christmas Kokeshi" lined with about 100 Kokeshi dolls wearing red costumes and "Santa Kokeshi", and a "Miscellaneous goods Marche" lined with about 300 accessories and accessories by artists working in and out of the prefecture.

According to Satsuki Kamata of the same building, all kokeshi dolls are handmade by artisans, so there is no one that is the same. Since the order is given to the craftsmen each time, the display banquet will vary depending on the day. “This year, the“ Christmas-style kokeshi kendama ”made by Naoko Homma, a rare female craftsman in Aomori, is popular,” says Kamada. On December 20, KH Aomori will hold the "Eraser Hanko SHOP & Workshop" and on the 19th, 20th, and 23rd the Kokeshi Yuru character "Kokeshikeko" will appear.
