On December 10, "Inakadate Ichigo Kenkyukai" (Inakadate Muraedagawa) shipped the strawberries of the Inakadate support character Ichihime design package for the first time.

The package, which was first unveiled at the first auction held at Hirosaki Chuo Seika (Suehiro, Hirosaki City) on the same day, was associated with Inakadate Village, and Sentokuo City, which actually existed in the Tsugaru region at the end of the Warring States period, was found. The original illustration with the strawberry of the character "Ichihime" with the motif is drawn. This is the second time to collaborate with local products after cider.

Hiroki Kudo of the study group says, "I have never heard of selling strawberries in a package that collaborated with a character nationwide." Regarding Ichihime, he recalled, "I knew that I was active in Inakadate Village for a long time. When I received this project, I immediately agreed."

The package is used for two types of products, "Tochiotome" and "Asaka" shipped by the study group. Approximately 160 boxes (660 packs) of strawberries that were shipped in the first auction are said to be sold mainly at supermarkets in the prefecture for raw consumption.

Mr. Kudo hopes that "Strawberries in our village are not well known, so it would be a good opportunity for many people to know."
