On December 12th, a soprano recital of Soprano singer Moeko Izumi from Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture will be held at the chapel in Hirosaki Gakuin University (Minormachi, Hirosaki City).

Izumi-san's first performance in Hirosaki. He said that he wanted to realize it from the memories of going back to his parents' home from Hirosaki many times when he was a child. "One of my roots as a singer is the memory of singing while walking around Hirosaki while holding hands with my grandparents," said Izumi.

Having studied vocal music since high school and completed the Graduate School of Music at Kyoto City University of Arts, Izumi has studied abroad at the Royal College of Music in England. Since then, he has been focusing on activities in the Kansai area, but since 2014 he has moved to the Kanto area and is performing concerts mainly in Tokyo.

Kosuke Kamata, a tap dancer from Aomori City, will also perform at the performance. "Vocal music and tap dance are rarely combined," says Izumi. "There is a percussion element in tap dance. In particular, Mr. Kamata was chosen as Mr. Jumper in 2014, and there should be something that touches Tsugaru's heart."

Izumi says, "We want to keep the image of the chapel as the venue important, and make it easy for people who don't usually listen to music to enjoy it. If you can come and try to find one of your new hobbies," Izumi calls out. ..

Doors open at 15:30 and start at 16:00. Tickets are all seats free, advance sale = 2,500 yen, same day = 3,000 yen.
