Ikuko Saito, an employee of "McDonald's Hirosaki Omachi Store" will participate in "AJCC (All Japan Crew Contest)" held in Tokyo on November 22nd.

AJCC is a contest where about 150,000 employees nationwide working in McDonald's compete in technology and hospitality in each field. Held every year, Mr. Saito will participate in the final race in the barista section of "McCafe by Barista", which operates at 95 stores nationwide.

Mr. Saito smiles, saying, "My dream for 20 years has come true." It was said that McDonald's was the first part-time job when I was in high school. He first entered the contest at the age of 18. He proceeded with pieces to the Sendai Games, but lost the first round. After that, he participated in the contest several times, but recalls that he was unable to leave any results.

After that, Mr. Saito quit McDonald's work at the timing of admission and marriage, and returned to it every time, but he is working as the opening staff of the store that opened in October 2013. Not only does McCafe's work differ from Mac's, but he also finds it rewarding because communication is created when he serves customers.

This is the first time we have reached the final round. "I want to prove that I can do my best even in the area called Hirosaki. Do my best and bring back what I got from the contest in Tokyo to Hirosaki."
