On April 30th, the football team "Rheinmail Aomori FC" won against Briobecca Urayasu in the home opening match of the Japan Football League (JFL) held at Shin-Aomori Prefectural Sports Park Stadium (Miyata, Aomori City).

The game was played under clear skies with a wind speed of about 10m/s, and both teams fought back and forth in the first half.

In the 41st minute, as the match drew to a close, neither side was able to score in the second half. URATA Nobuhisa (DF2), who was waiting in front of the goal for a loose ball, made a direct shot to score the opening goal. Just before the end of the match, Briobecca's fierce attack was defended, and Rheinmail won 1-0.

A female soccer fan in her 30s who came from Aomori to watch the match said with a smile, "The game didn't move very well, so I was thrilled to score the opening goal with five minutes left in the second half. The supporters were excited and had a great time."

Reinmeer has now finished 6 games and is ranked 4th in JFL. The overall record is 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss, and 11 points. Aiming to break through the 1st place for promotion to J3.

Their next home match will be against FC Maruyasu Okazaki (Aichi) on May 28th.
