The "All Japan Professional Wrestling Hirosaki Tournament" was held on November 1 at the Budokan in Aomori Prefecture (Toyota Hirosaki City).

In addition to title matches such as the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship and the World Junior Heavyweight Championship, all seven games and 22 professional wrestlers participated in this competition.

In the special match where professional wrestler Masakatsu Funaki from the city and Kendo Kashin from former Tokiwamura teamed up for the first time, Mayor Kasai Norihiro Hirosaki who was visiting the match at the time of the out-of-field fight joined forces with both players. There was also one act, and the venue got excited.

At the social gathering after the match, about 160 fans from the city gathered to interact with the players who participated. Neputa artist, Kunisen Kimura, donated a banner depicting the athletes' portraits with Neputa to all-Japan professional wrestling. “I was particular about expressing it as a Neputa picture rather than a portrait,” says Kimura. He smiles, saying "I'm honored to have a rare opportunity."

Mr. Kouma Narita, a third grader living in the city who is a fan of Suzuki Kotaro, showed a satisfying look after receiving a signature from Suzuki. Narita has been fond of professional wrestling since he was five years old and has already seen countless matches. “I was cheering for Akebono today, but I was disappointed to lose it. I want to be a professional wrestler like Akebono in the future,” he said in his dream.

Mr. Yoshiharu Mikami of the executive committee of Hirosaki's "power of professional wrestling" planned, "I am really grateful that there are about 2300 visitors. I hope this competition will lead to a similar competition every year." Show motivation.
