Aomori / Inakadate Village is currently disclosing that "rice field art" can be viewed on Google's street view map through the official website.

The rice paddy art in the village has been highly praised by introducing foreign media such as the US CBS and the UK BBC due to its finely drawn pictures and their high artistry. This year's theme was the topic of the 1st rice field art venue = movie "Gone with the wind" and 2nd venue = movie "Star Wars: Awakening of the Force" released in December 2015.

According to the village, the number of visitors to this year's rice field art exhibition, which ended on October 12, was more than 340,000, a record high with an increase of about 50,000 from last year. The second venue exceeded the number of visitors of the first venue for the first time.

On the same homepage, in addition to the rice field art in the 1st and 2nd venues displayed in Street View, we will also introduce the "stone art" in the 2nd venue, which was the first initiative this year. The art depicts Ken Takakura, who died in November 2014, under the theme of "Sorrowful People."
