Hirosaki University (Bunkyo-cho, Hirosaki City) will hold the Hirosaki University Cultural Festival from October 16th to 18th, and active medical students of the same university will exhibit "Medical Exhibition 2015".

This exhibition features a large number of hands-on booths where you can enjoy learning about medical and illness information and the human body. It is a popular exhibition every year because of the high quality of the exhibits.

Mayu Kikuchi, the representative of the exhibition, said, “This year, with the theme of“ connecting with Tsugaru ”, we will increase the connections between people in areas where we do not normally interact with each other and students from other departments, and bring the knowledge and information we bring back to those around us. We will develop an exhibition that can be shared and expanded. " This time, it will increase the number of "Okusuri" booths and prepare a total of 12 booths.

"We have expanded the experience section from last year," he said. At the emergency booth, children's dolls will be prepared in addition to adult dolls, and there will be a corner where BLS (cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED usage, suffocation) can be compared and experienced. "It's rare for children and adults to experience benefits," said the booth staff. In addition, there will be a doctor helicopter flight suit, a helmet, nurse clothes, a corner where you can try on surgical clothes, and a corner where you can wear a lead apron to experience pregnant women and shield radiation.

At the pre-event held on the 3rd floor of Hiroro (Ekimaemachi, Hirosaki City), families with children gathered and Hirosaki City mascot character Takamaru-kun wore a white robe and rushed to the venue. A woman in her 40s who participated said, "I tried to walk in, but I knew the first aid for my child for the first time."

    Holding time is 16th = 13:00 to 17:00, 17th and 18th = 10:00 to 17:00.
