During the "Hirosaki Sakura Festival" that closed on May 6, the "Hand-held cherry blossom viewing" service was offered again this year. This service handles everything from arranging lunches and drinks to setting and cleaning up, so that users can enjoy a cherry-blossom banquet at Hirosaki Park without having anything.

On April 28, when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, a Thai TV station visited for a filming of the TV program "Wonderful Japan" that conveys Japan's splendor. On this day, a special ninja carried a lunch box, and cheers were heard from children visiting the park and foreign tourists.

Two courses are available. The "drinking plan", which includes local sake for a limited time, and the "special Hirosaki course," which even people who cannot drink sake can enjoy. The course includes apple juice recommended by local staff and sweets made by a local confectionery store. In both cases, the bento was a Japanese-style bento centered around local cuisine, and the flute performance service of "Hirosaki Neputa" was also offered during the cherry blossom viewing.

"I didn't know there was such a service, I would like to use it again next year," said a cherry-blossom visitor from Akita prefecture who used the service. There was also a scene in which the participants began to dance while screaming along with the bean sprouts, as the flute was accompanied by encore voices.

The management staff said, "Of course, we have the best cherry blossoms in Japan next year, so we definitely want you to see the cherry blossoms you have never tasted before in Hirosaki Park."
