The experience tour "Shirakami Starlight Camp" was held on August 22-23 at Aqua Green Village ANMON (Nishimeya Village, Aomori Prefecture).

A tour where you can experience dinner with fish, meat and vegetables caught in the surrounding area, trekking and mountain stream descent, centering on Nishimeya Village, which is located at the gateway to the Shirakami Mountains, a World Natural Heritage Site. It was jointly planned with the village by Hirosaki Cider Kobo Kimori (Shimizu, Hirosaki City), which makes cider (apple wine), and Italian restaurant group "COVA JAPAN" (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

23 people from 7 groups participated, mainly through announcement of recruitment on the Internet. On that day, we couldn't do the barbecue outside and the sky tent construction to look up at the starry sky, which we couldn't do due to the bad weather, but Yayoi Kanamori and Yukari Takahashi, who were two people from Akita prefecture, said, `` I was attracted to the phrase that I could experience the heritage and applied for the tour. I am very happy that I had many valuable experiences. I would like to participate again next time. "

Kimori's Satoshi Takahashi says, “The locals have never actually been to the Shirakami Mountains. The fact that one package has been completed in this way will also give rise to interest”.

COVA JAPAN provides ingredients from the same village and Kimori cider at affiliated stores, and "it is a big asset to be able to provide the blessings of the World Heritage Site," said Hitoshi Yoshioka, managing director. "The purpose of this tour is to experience the Shirakami Mountains in areas other than food. It was the first experience tour that you could understand by actually visiting the area."

The day before the tour, we planned a full-course "eating world heritage" using ingredients around the Shirakami Mountains. It is said that it has been provided to interested parties. “I want to deepen my relationship with the Shirakami Mountains,” says Yoshioka.
