    A cafe bar “wanna eat” (1 Shinmachi, Aomori City, TEL 090-9838-2794 ) opened on September 25th at the Aomori City Multipurpose Exchange Plaza (Passage Square).

    In addition to alcohol, mainly natural wine, this shop offers dishes and sweets using spices and herbs. The owner, Miyuki Suzuki, who loves wine, said, "I want people to enjoy wine casually."

    Suzuki says that the restaurant he worked for will close in December 2021, and he has started considering opening his own restaurant, considering a job that allows him to work at his own discretion to some extent due to family circumstances. In January of the following year, he started consulting on entrepreneurship at the "AOMORI STARTUP CENTER" (Shinmachi), and finally opened the store. The name of the restaurant is "want to eat=wanna eat", which means "I want to eat". "I wanted to make it easy to remember," says Suzuki.

    Drinks include red, white, and rosé wines by the glass (starting at 880 JPY), and bottles from 5,500 JPY. Alcohol such as "Draft Beer" (700 yen), "Raw Lemon Sour" (600 yen), and soft drinks such as "Coffee" and "Aomori Prefecture Apple Juice" (400 yen) are also available.

    As for food, in addition to standard menu items such as “Carrot Rappée” (330 yen), “Raw Meat Rice” (880 yen), and “Epoisse Cheesecake” (800 yen), “Potage” (from 550 yen) and “Salad” are also available. (from 770 yen), "quiche" (from 660 yen), "scones" (from 200 yen), etc. The combination of ingredients and spices changes according to the season. Most menu items are available for takeout.

As for the future, he said, "I'm also planning upcycled products that use the residue left over from the wine making process. I'd like to think of products and projects that make wine a part of your life, not just for drinking." ' and show enthusiasm.

    Business hours are from 11:00 to 16:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00 (until 24:00 on Fridays and Saturdays). Closed on Sundays.
