Tsugaru Dam is currently lit up for Christmas.

Tsugaru Dam is a concrete gravity dam with a height of 97.2 meters located in Nishimeya Village, which has the Shirakami Mountains. With a width of 342 meters, it is one of the largest in Tohoku, and the total storage capacity of 140.9 million cubic meters is the largest in Aomori Prefecture.

The Christmas light-up will be held for the second time following last year. The lights, centered on red, white, and green, change every five minutes and are projected onto the wall. There is also a rainbow that projects all 7 colors and a production that changes 5 or 7 colors in a short time.

A staff member of the Iwakigawa Dam Integrated Management Office said, "The Tsugaru Dam is lit up for events, but in the winter, the walls of the dam are covered with snow, so the light looks different. Reflected light spreads around. I hope you can enjoy the situation. Please come dressed warmly."

Lighting time is from 16:30 to 20:00. Until December 25th.
