An evening shrine was held on July 13 at Oni Shrine in Hirosaki City (Onizawa, Hirosaki City), and annual food was offered by Sb Foods (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo).

The shrine is said to have had the legend that the demons created a waterway and saved the village from a drought. Since there was a rare custom of dedicating garlic, SBS Foods, which commercialized "garlic powder," requested the shrine to branch in July 1984. Exchange with the shrine has started.

Koichi Fujita, the president of the shrine, said, "Exchanges continue even now." It is customary to receive donations from SBS foods at the festivals that are held three times a year, and to hang up a rising flag labeled "SBS foods" at the festival. “When I rebuilt the office about 10 years ago, I received a donation of 1 million yen,” says Mr. Fujita. In February 2012, the Shimenawa made that year was dedicated to the shrine at the headquarters of SB Foods.

According to a spokeswoman for the company, a separate shrine has been set up at the entrance of the "Spice Exhibition Hall" that was created to spread the will of the founder Mineshiro Yamazaki and his wife, Shunei, who worked hard to spread and research spices. It is said that "The Spice Exhibition Hall is not open to the public at the moment, but if you continue to interact with Oni Shrine in the future," he said.
