Aomori publisher "Graph Aomori" (Yatsuhashi Tsutsui, Aomori City) released the latest issue (No. 435) of its quarterly magazine "Life in Aomori" on July 20th.

For about 50 years since its launch in 1975, it has continued to publish with the aim of conveying to the future the thoughts, history and culture of the people living in Aomori. The special feature of the latest issue is "Aomori no Ippin". The editorial department selects and introduces Aomori's unique products from among the many specialty products and crafts of Aomori Prefecture.

The interviewees include Hokuyo Glass, Takahashi Kamaboko Store (all in Aomori City), and Kaneshime Ishita (Hirosaki City). President Koichi Shimoike says, “Aomori Prefecture has many wonderful products. Some are mass-produced, while others are handmade in small workshops and groups. I will introduce the story.I hope it will be an opportunity to search for Aomori's masterpieces." There are still more "specialties" that could not be introduced this time, and it is said that a sequel is also being considered.
