The Kominka Cafe Apricot (Asamushi Hotarudani, Aomori City) opened the exhibition "Shrimp Fish Exhibition 2" on July 1.

This restaurant is a renovated inn that is over 100 years old. Paintings of fish and frogs are displayed alongside antiques and sundries on the pillars at the entrance and on the old chest of drawers.

The author is Kazuma Ebina. While working at an apparel store in Aomori City, she draws watercolors as a hobby. In June last year, he held his first solo exhibition at the Aomori Prefectural Social Education Center in the city in order to draw works over the past few years. I started planning this second exhibition with my friend Shiori Narita, who is the owner of the same store, from this spring. Ebina said, “I have loved fish since I was a child, and every time I went to the Asamushi Aquarium, I took pictures and drew pictures of them. I like it, so I mainly draw bright fish."

In conjunction with the exhibition, the store will prepare a new menu "Deep Sea Cream Soda" (600 yen). Mr. Narita said with a smile, "Since it's a special exhibition, I came up with a special menu. Since it's summer, I thought cream soda would be good. I made it dark blue with the image of the deep sea, and topped it with salted vanilla ice cream made with rock salt. Thanks to you, it's been well received." show

Mr. Ebina said, ``I decorated it in a rough way so that it fits in with the old building and miscellaneous goods.I want people to enjoy it with the atmosphere of the cafe.
