The beauty salon "Luika" (Minami Tomita, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-55-5466) near Shibata Girls' High School celebrated its first anniversary on May 22nd.

The owner is Satoshi Kudo from Hirosaki City who runs "HONOLUA Kugenuma Kaigan Beauty Salon" in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. He said, "Hirosaki has a lot of beauty salons, but there are few shops that offer reasonable prices."

“Our stylist had two stylists when the store opened,” recalls Hitomi Kudo, the owner's sister and store manager. Since it is possible to work part-time under an outsourcing system, stylists who want to have their own stores in the future gathered, and currently 6 people are enrolled. Masahiro Uchiki, who was working as a hairdresser in the Kanto area, moved to Hirosaki in April of this year and is working there. "I haven't gotten used to it since it's only been about a month and a half, but I want to work at this store for a while," he said.

"We held a 1st anniversary lottery event during May. We would like to continue to hold regular events," says Mr. Kudo. “I want to keep in touch with regular customers, while introducing word-of-mouth communication and accepting new customers who come to the Internet,” he says with a smile.

The price is cut (2,000 yen, no shampoo, including blow), color (2,500 yen ~), perm (4,500 yen), shampoo (500 yen) (excluding tax).

Business hours are from 9:00 to 20:00.
