    Aomori Kaizan (Fukaura-cho, Nishitsugaru-gun) started the "One whole tuna present campaign" on May 25th.

    To commemorate the completion of the company's marine product processing center, a campaign will be held at the "Aomori Kaizan net shop" that it operates. One winner will receive one natural tuna from Fukaura, Aomori Prefecture, subject to purchase of more than 5,000 yen (tax excluded) and registration of the email magazine during the period.

    Fukaura tuna is a bluefin tuna, which is the same as Oma tuna, which is well known as a high-class tuna, and it is landed on the way northward toward Oma, so it is two to three months earlier than Oma. Although the fish is smaller than Oma's, it has a good reputation for being able to taste the original taste of tuna, says Hideki Noro, the company's sales manager. "It is not aimed at differentiating from Oma, but I would like you to think of it as a tuna first when you come to Aomori."

    This tuna weighs about 40 kg and is equivalent to about 200 servings. Mr. Noro is confident that "freshly caught natural tuna can be enjoyed as much as you want with a whole variety of eating methods such as red meat, medium toro, large toro, and fish." In addition to a free trip dismantling show, it is said that one tuna serving will be shipped out regularly.

    It will be held until June 30th.
