"Tsugaru kogin sashimi" is one of the sashimi techniques that has been passed down in the Tsugaru region for a long time. It was the wisdom of life to reinforce coarse cloth such as hemp field clothes and increase heat retention. In recent years, it has been sewn on a variety of small items such as coasters and walnut buttons, and has been attracting attention mainly from women.

At this event, Yoko Takada, who has won the Contemporary Craft Award at the Japan Contemporary Craft Art Exhibition, and about 50 works by several artists will be exhibited. In addition, 10 Tsugaru kogin sashimi artists from inside and outside the prefecture will gather to exhibit and sell their works. Limited to 100 "Kogin Senbei" (500 yen) limited to the venue.

As a pre-event, a special workshop was held by Sachiko Miura, who was certified as a Hirosaki Meister for Tsugaru Kogin Stab from 14:00 on the 1st, and from 16:00 Mr. Sadaharu Narita and Mr. Takata, the third director of the Hirosaki Kogin Research Institute.
