The soba shop “Takada” (Kojimachi, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-55-8628), located in Kasumi-koji, Hirosaki City, celebrated its first anniversary on April 10th.

The shop was started by Tsutomu Takada, the owner of the shop, who felt that "there are few restaurants where the elderly can easily visit." There are about 40 kinds of menus besides spaghetti and pizza. “I have a lot of menus because I get tired of only soba noodles,” says Takada.

Mr. Takada's father used to run the “Takada Shokudo” (Nakadate Town), but due to urban development, he had no choice but to close the store. He said he found his current place while he was thinking of opening a store, taking over his father's will.

“The number of regular customers is increasing, and the elderly are also using it a lot,” says Takada. Toilet will be provided with handrails, and the soba sauce container will be made of plastic so that it does not become heavy. Sichuan Marbo Tofu (600 yen), which is often ordered at night, adjusts the spiciness according to the orderer's age.

“I felt good when the elderly customers brought me strawberries, thank you.” Recently, the number of students has increased, and he says, "I would like to continue providing a space where people can spend their time without worrying about time."

The menu includes Kake Soba (300 yen), Zaru Soba (300 yen), "Kake Chuka" (300 yen), Zaru Chuka (300 yen), and Chinese Omelet (400 yen), Stone Grilled Bibimbap ( 600 yen) etc. are prepared. The drink menu includes alcohol, beer, cocktails, shochu, whiskey (400 yen or more). There is also an all-you-can-drink plan (1,000 yen per hour).

Currently, we are offering a "1st Anniversary Trial Set" (1,000 yen per person, you can order from 2 or more people) with 2 drinks, salad, pizza and spaghetti as a set.
