Tsugaru dialects are increasing in the number of stamps that can be used within the free calling / mail application "LINE".

"LINE" is an application provided by LINE (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). The stamp used as a communication method in the application introduced the creator's stamp system from April 2014, and now accepts creative stamps from the general public.

Currently, there are 42 types of Tsugaru dialect creator's stamps (edited by the editorial department). There are a variety of Tsugaru dialects such as "Waiha (exclamation when I was surprised)", "Dondanzu (What's going on?)" And "Jenkonee (I don't have money)", and there are many variations. There are even Tsugaru dialects that are rarely used by locals, such as “Don's” and “Buraku”.

The stamp "Hokkaido Mitsume Ringo", a stamp by a housewife, pocosi, who lives in Hirosaki City, has just started selling on March 15. The sale required screening, and the application was made in mid-November last year. "If you can easily convey the feelings of a complicated Tsugaru person in a standard language with a stamp," pocosi says. "I'm happy if people who don't know the Tsugaru dialect are interested. There are many Tsugaru dialects that can be used as stamps, so I would like to try the second one," he says with a smile.

The price is 100 yen each. However, you need to convert it to 50 coins.
