On February 26, Cafe Cocotime (Oshimizu, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-87-6227) opened near a shopping center in Yasuhara, Hirosaki.

It features a sandwich-based food menu, "I didn't want to have the image of a cafe that only had coffee or tea. Hirosaki had already had a bagel and hamburger shop, so I offered a different bread meal. “I wanted it,” says the owner, Kazuyuki Kimura. The origin of the store name is "time of heart". “I want customers to decide whether they will feel calm or have a peace of mind when they come to the store. It doesn't matter if they get excited.”

"When I was about to turn 40, I felt like I might be doing the same thing 10 years from now," said Kimura. After graduating from high school, I moved to Tokyo to attend a fashion school, but when I was 25, I returned to Hirosaki. He decided to help his father's work, but one day he wanted to own his own store. “I loved eating out, and I cooked a lot to recreate the taste of the restaurant at home. It started me interested in restaurants,” he said.

It was my first time to run a restaurant, so I had to start fumbling. When choosing a store, I sometimes stood on the road with a counter to measure traffic. Originally blended with "Yumechikara" wheat from Hokkaido and Iwate prefecture. Be sure to toast the sandwich bread, saying, "Because you want the surface to be crispy, and the inside to have a chewy texture."

The menu includes sandwiches such as yakiniku sandwich, shrimp croquette sandwich (630 yen or more), katsu sandwich (650 yen), drinks such as coffee, espresso (350 yen or more), iced coffee (450 yen) and strawberry tea ( Tea such as 400 yen) and blueberry tea (400 yen) and alcohol are also available. A set menu (1,000 yen) with today's sandwich and soup, salad, dessert, and drink will be offered all day.
