A singer / songwriter “Tatetakako” from Nagano prefecture performed live at Alice nursery school in Kuroishi (Kuroishi city) on March 2nd.

After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music, Tate Takako, who is from Iida City, Nagano Prefecture, made his debut in 2004 with the album “Sora,” which includes piano-speaking songs. Currently based in the city, they are conducting live performances nationwide. In the movie “Nobody Knows” directed by Hirokazu Korieda, which was released in the same year, he appeared as a store clerk at a convenience store and sang the insertion song “Gem” with the director's strong hope.

This live was triggered by Mr. Katsuyuki Haga, chairman of the parents' association of the nursery school, who spoke to Mr. Vertical. Mr. Haga is the president of Mitsushiro Seiko (Hirakawa City, Aomori Prefecture) who handles audio power supply products, and he knew that he used the company's products when he recorded.

“I rarely had children listen to songs at nursery schools, which was a valuable experience,” says Tate. In about one hour of live performances, there were occasions where the children of about 100 children aged 2 to 5 were sung not only their own songs, but also 13 songs such as folk songs and nursery rhymes to respond to the children's requests.

During the live performance, the children were singing loudly and moving according to the rhythm, Tate said, “The children's desire to sing was conveyed. I felt energy.”

“I think the reason why the children were able to listen to them without getting tired of them was because they had something that they could feel as if they were children. The staff were able to enjoy it,” said Mutsuko Kodate, the director.
