On April 22, the "Omotenashi Citizen Training Course" will be held to foster "Omotenashi Citizens" who can usually handle tourists. Organized by Tabiesuke (Tote Town, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-55-0268).

"Hospitable citizens" are citizens who have the goal of "living well for themselves and visiting tourists." In the upbringing course, the whole city is called a "learning room (ya)", and you can learn with a workshop while empathizing with the findings and discoveries.

Prior to the course, a free trial session was held from March 26th to April 12th. At the hands-on session on April 9, he pointed out that there is no foreign language on the bulletin board for tourists, such as "Please contact us if you have any problems". It was a scenery that we were used to seeing so often that we did not notice it. “For example, shoveling is a daily life for residents, but it is extraordinary for tourists”.
