On January 17, at Hotel Naqua City Hirosaki (Omachi, Hirosaki City), a major convenience store chain "Seven-Eleven" held a briefing session for recruiting owners.

Seven-Eleven, which announced the first store opening in Aomori Prefecture on October 31, last year, boasts over 170,000 stores in Japan, and the remaining unopened areas are only in four prefectures. Of these, Kochi Prefecture is scheduled to open stores in the spring of 2015, so Aomori Prefecture will be the 45th storefront prefecture after Kochi Prefecture. In the same prefecture, there was a lot of talk about "Seven-Eleven stores opening," but each time they stayed at the rumor level.

This is the third owner recruitment briefing in this prefecture. We are in Aomori City on November 15th and Hachinohe City on December 6th, and there is a lot of talk on the internet about which of the three cities will open first.

According to the announcement of Seven-Eleven Japan, the store is scheduled to open from the summer of 2015.
