The 7th edition of the Hirosaki Apple Pie Guide Map, which introduces Hirosaki's apple pies, was published in November. Produced by Hirosaki Tourism Convention Association.

The same map that introduces stores that sell apple pies in Hirosaki city, which has the largest amount of apple production in Japan. Since there have been many inquiries about "what are the apple sweets" from before, a female employee of the association conducted a questionnaire at a sweets shop in the city, and there were many "apple pies", so a guidebook was created Came to.

When the first edition was published in 2009, it attracted a lot of attention, focusing on young female tourists, and became the standard map in the tourist guidebook after Hirosaki's cherry blossoms and Hirosaki Castle. It is said that the number of tourists visiting from afar and eating multiple apple pies has begun to increase. Daigo Shirato of the association said, "The taste of apple pies in the same store varies depending on the variety and season of the apples. If there is a chance to visit Hirosaki many times," he said.

In this revision, we listened to the voices of the listed stores and changed the evaluation criteria, which used to be 4 items up to now, to 3 items for easier understanding and changed the notation method. The apple apple kingdom, which resembles the city as a fictional kingdom, is also included in the guidebook, and the king of the apple kingdom also appears. We also added an introduction such as the "Apple Pie Eating Compare Plate" that allows you to eat and compare six types of apple pies in the city.

In addition, "The changes in the needs of Apple Pie have also appeared." In the past, I used to take home a lot, but as the number of people who go home to eat on the spot has started to increase, many stores have eat-in spaces to meet their needs. Mr. Shirato feels the response little by little. Initially, it was only for Western confectionery stores, but even Japanese confectionery stores, restaurants, and bakeries are now offering apple pies. "Recently, there are cases where rice crackers and apple farmers sell it," he said.

The guide map is distributed at stores supporting the city and tourist information centers.
