The Hirosaki Tourism and Convention Association (Shimohiragincho, Hirosaki City) announced on June 22 that it will continue collaborating with the Hirosaki Sakura Festival and "Sakura Miku", and also renewed the signboard that was installed inside Hirosaki Station.

The Hirosaki Sakura Festival is held in Hirosaki Park, where 2600 cherry trees bloom, and is a big event that visitors from all over the world visit. Sakura Miku is a character derived from the virtual idol "Hatsune Miku", and served as the official support character for the Hirosaki Sakura Festival in 2019 (Heisei 31) and 2020 (Reiwa 2).

The signboard installed at the entrance of the station is about 1.8 meters long and 3.6 meters wide, and uses the main visual drawn by illustrator iXima for this year's Sakura Festival. It will be an illustration depicting Sakura Miku flying in the background of Mt.Iwaki and Hirosaki Castle, and the signboard will be the 101st Hirosaki Sakura Festival next year, so "let's meet at the 101st cherry blossom." The catch phrase is written.

The collaboration was initially planned for two years, and since this year's Sakura Festival was cancelled, attention has been focused on leaving for service from next year. In the after-report video of the Hirosaki Sakura Festival that was released on the official YouTube channel of Hatsune Miku on June 16, the publicly-illustrated illustrations and the Hatsune Miku version of the supporting song "101st Sakura" were shown, and the last was "Official Support. The character continues!"

The Hirosaki Tourism and Convention Association will continue collaborative planning on June 22, as well as the Sakura Miku Museum, which has Sakura Miku's wrapping taxis and trains, and part of the Hirosaki City Machinaka Information Center (Hirosaki City's bank bank) as a cherry tree Miku corner. Announced to continue.

Mr. Daigo Shirato of the association said, "Unfortunately the commemorative 100th cherry blossom festival has been canceled, but the 101st, the next step, is an event that also enlivens citizens, stakeholders, Sakura Miku fans together I want to do it."
