    Wasao is an Akita dog protected by the former owner, Setsuko Kikutani, a squid-baked restaurant "Nanasato Nagahama Kikuya Shoten" (Ajigasawa-cho, Nishitsugaru-gun, Aomori Prefecture). , It was also made into a book and a movie. In 2010 (Heisei 22), he was appointed as the Ajigasawa Town Special Tourism Ambassador, and the following year, he was appointed as a special ambassador dog for the World Heritage Activities (Wombasser) of the Japan UNESCO Association, and served as a publicity for the town.

    The banner was unveiled on June 22, and was set on the wall in front of the government office. Initially, 200 copies of the poster were prepared and distributed to local restaurants, but 100 copies have been reprinted to be displayed along the main road in the town, and distribution is currently in progress.     The movie "Wasao" released from July 3rd to 2011 (Heisei 23) will be rescreened at the cinema "Cinema Village 8 Aeon Kashiwa" (Tsugaru City, Aomori Prefecture) closest to Ajigasawa Town. did.
