The Aomori bakery company "Kudo Bread" (Aomori City) starts selling three types of "reprint series" on June 1.

Kudo Bun was founded in 1932. The signature product "British toast" that has been sold for over 50 years is also called Aomori's soul food, and in recent years it has attracted much attention in collaboration with other industries. Since the company releases new products on the 1st of every month, many fans look forward to it.

The three types to be released this time are "Dream Bread," "Fry Sand," and "Jumbo (Brown Sugar)." It was released before the 1950s and has been reprinted several times, but it is the first to be sold at the same time. Naoyuki Nasu of the company's sales department said, "There is no clear document, and no recipe."

"Dream Bread" is a dough topped with cookie soboro and sandwiched with custard cream. The bread at that time had red jelly in the center. "Fry Sand" is the fourth reprint of this time, with ears of fried bread and raisins pickled with rum. "Jumbo (brown sugar)" features brown sugar dough with chocolate cream squeezed and an elephant illustration drawn on the package.

Mr. Nasu says, "If you are in your 40s or 50s, you may have eaten once. I have a lineup that makes me remember the days when I had eaten after club activities." ..

It wasn't exactly the same as it was at that time, and the bread dough was arranged in a modern way. “We reproduce the recipe based on the recipes that are only found in the heads of our chairman and employees who have been in production for about 50 years,” he says. "I'm happy that my family can enjoy it while listening to the memories of the bread that my parents had eaten."

The price is dream bread = 128 yen, frying sand = 138 yen, jumbo (brown sugar) = 145 yen. It will be sold at convenience stores, supermarkets, and Kudopan shops in Aomori Prefecture.
