    Hirosaki City Activity Plaza "Yayoi Ikoino Plaza" (Hirosaki City Hyakusawa, TEL 0172-96-2117) opened on May 18 for the first time in about a month.

    The plaza consists of three facilities: the animal plaza, the auto campground, and the picnic plaza. The animal plaza is home to 200 species of 50 species and is known as the northernmost zoo in Honshu.     It started operations this April on April 10, but closed on April 20 due to an emergency declaration. Initially it was closed until May 30th, but announced that it will resume from 18th on the 17th.     When reopening business, we call on visitors to thoroughly disinfect and social distance of 2 meters or more.

    Admission to Animal Plaza is 440 yen for adults, 270 yen for middle and high school students, and 220 yen for elementary school students and younger. The fee for using the auto campground is ¥1,570 for one-day trip and ¥3,140 for accommodation (one section). Business hours are from 9:00 to 16:30.
