    Hirosaki's sushi and eel specialty store "Kurushizushi" (Hirosaki City Dote-cho, TEL 0172-34-6955) relocated to the Hirosaki Park Hotel 2nd floor and opened on April 20.

    The store opened in 1969. Currently, the family is run by Kiyoaki Atomic, his eldest son Riki, and his wife Hiroko. This is my second time to relocate. The previous store was in Yamado-cho, and it was closed on March 15th because it had been decided to evict due to a land development project. The store building has already been demolished.

    Furthermore, it was open until 1982 in the "Maruto Market" in Shinagawa Town. The name "Kurushizushi" comes from the name of the shop that Kiyoaki trained. “I was working at a fish shop in the Malt market, but I got sick and thought about a temporary job change. I went to Gifu because of my brother, but the job I had was a sushi restaurant. Returning home, I became independent at the site of a fish shop that worked at the malt market," says Kiyoaki. "One of the reasons was that the automobile was a symbol of development at that time,"

    After graduating from high school, the second generation, Riki, left his parent and worked as a non-diner, but at the age of 21 he began helping with sushi. Mr. Kiyoshi recalls that he wanted to continue and keep Kiyoaki's store. "It's the key to a sense of stability that doesn't change the taste," he said of what has been going on for over 50 years.

    The delivery service started when he moved to Yamadocho. We accept orders for 2 or more people in Hirosaki city. A sign with the store name is installed on the roof of the delivery car. It has been said that 10 or more cars were changed at the delivery service that lasted nearly 40 years. Riki says with a smile, "When I go to pick up the empty bowl, there is a letter saying, "It was delicious."

    It opened on the site of "Noodle Restaurant Izakaya Warabi" which closed in October last year. The store area is about 18 tsubo and there are about 30 seats. The counter table, goodwill, and Tsugaru-nuri tableware used at previous stores. There is a tatami mat private room, and all seats are chairs.

    The grand menu has not changed for more than 40 years. Nigiri sushi (1,000 yen and up), unaju (3,000 yen), eel set meal (3,300 yen), chirashi sushi (1,200 yen), etc. Unadon (1,500 JPY), seafood bowl (1,000 JPY), and nigiri sushi (1,000 JPY) for lunch menu. The eel sauce has been added since the time of its founding, and the recipe has already been passed on to Riki-san.

    Regarding the future, Riki says, “It seems that the previous store had a high threshold. By entering the hotel, we would like to aim to create a store that is used by a wide range of customers and is easy to enter.” Show me.
