Hirosaki's specialty coffee shop "Narita Senzo Coffee" held a free coffee behavior on April 12 at the north coffee shop (Hinoguchi, Hirosaki City).

According to Narita, the reason behind the free coffee behavior was the Hirosaki Sakura Festival, which was canceled due to the new coronavirus.

"The Hirosaki Sakura Festival was open every year near the citizen's open space in Hirosaki Park. This year the festival itself was canceled and the sales increased, but it was a big loss because I could not make coffee while watching cherry blossoms more than that. I have a feeling," says Narita.

Mr. Narita, who had been opening coffee at the Hirosaki Sakura Festival for more than 25 years, had extraordinary feelings about opening the Sakura Festival. Rather than being a business, there is a sense of unity that you can enjoy a cherry blossoms with your customers and drink coffee.

Mr. Narita said that the Hirosaki Sakura Festival was cancelled, not only me but all the citizens of Hirosaki are probably depressed. That's why I wanted you to drink coffee because it was such a time."

As a countermeasure against infection, we provided it outdoors and made it a drive-through format. Call out to eight staff members and provide them in turn. Mr. Narita says, "I will start preparing at 4 am, but by the time the cherry blossoms bloom, I will be going around Hirosaki Park to work. I will stop when I see the cherry blossoms in the park." ..
