Hirosaki's dance and vocal unit "RINGO MUSUME" announced collaboration goods with Hirosaki-based manga artist Chihiro Ishizuka on April 10th to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her debut.

Apple Musume is an idol group whose purpose is to disseminate information and revitalize agriculture in Aomori. The names of all the members are apple varieties. Currently, four of them are Orin, Toki, Jonagold, and Saika. This year, we were planning a nationwide tour on the 20th anniversary of the formation, but announced that it will be canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

Mr. Ishizuka is a cartoonist of "Flying Witch", a manga set in Hirosaki, which is being serialized in "Separate Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). He lived in Hirosaki and once drew a cover illustration of a local women's junior college brochure and event posters. In this collaboration, I drew an illustration of 4 members.

There are 4 types of merchandise lineup: T-shirt (3,500 yen), mug (2,000 yen), 4 sets of can badges (1,500 yen), and 4 sets of clear files (1,500 yen). The sale was planned for the 20th anniversary commemorative nationwide tour venue, but online sales only.

Currently, four people refrain from practicing due to the influence of the new coronavirus. Mr. Wanglin says on his Instagram, "I'm glad that it was possible to appear as a picture by Professor Ishizuka."

The release is planned for the near future.
