An event to sell apples from Aomori Prefecture will be held on December 6th and 7th at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store (Osaka City).

The event titled "Osaka, this is an apple. Planet of the apples 2 apple planet". The movie-like production was talked about as "cool" and last year, 10,000 apples were sold out in two days. This year again, five young producers bring 2000 apples each, for a total of 10,000 apples to Osaka for face-to-face sales.

The Aomori apples, which have the highest production volume in Japan, have been on the market for a long time in the Kanto region, but in the Kansai region, the geographically advantageous apples from Nagano prefecture are generally distributed. The event started with the hope that people in the Kansai region would enjoy the most delicious Aomori apples harvested during the seasonal season.

Atsushi Akaishi of RED APPLE (Hirosaki City), a participating producer, said, “I was really happy to see that it was delicious when I sold it directly to customers in Osaka last year. The Aomori apple brand has been established in the Kansai area as well. I want to do it ". Katsuhisa Sasaki of Sasaki Ringoen (Owanimachi) said, "I think it's rare that there are apples in Osaka. Please come visit and enjoy the difference in taste."

On the 7th, the food education project "Vegista", which has the concept of communicating the local food culture, cooperated with the "Vegista in Children's Apple Expo 2014". There will also be an event where you can experience selling while learning about apples.
