The local idol in Aomori, "RINGO MUSUME," won the Tohoku Block Award for the "12th CD Shop Award 2020" for the first time.

The CD Shop Grand Prix, which is held annually by the All Japan CD Shop Clerk Association. Regardless of major or indie, this is an annual prize that is selected only by voting by CD shop clerks nationwide, and past grand prizes include Gen Hoshino's "POP VIRUS" and Kenshi Yonezu's "BOOTLEG". It was This year, "Traveler" by Official Bearded Man dism was selected for the grand prize, and a total of 33 works including an apple daughter won the prize.

Apple Musume is an idol group whose purpose is to disseminate information and revitalize agriculture in Aomori. All the members' names are apple breed names. Currently, the 7th gen, Orin, is the leader, and the four members are Toki, Jonagold, and Saika. This year, the 20th anniversary of our debut, we are planning a national tour from April in 20 cities.

The award-winning "FOURs" is the third album released on March 19, 2019, and contains all 10 songs produced by Hiroya-based music writer Shinya Tada. It came in 5th in the Oricon Weekly Indie Album Ranking and was a long-selling work centered on local CD shops.
