A blind soccer experience session was held on January 12 at Hirosaki's indoor futsal court "SAPP-Do." (Takada, Hirosaki City). Sponsored by Brandue Hirosaki.

Blind soccer, the official event of the 2020 Paralympic Games, will be played with a blind soccer ball that makes a sound wearing an eye mask. Brandue Hirosaki asked Aomori's blind soccer team "Garuha Aomori" to do it. Mr. Yuki Nishizawa of Brandue Hirosaki said, "I had the aim of making Hirosaki more aware of the game called blind soccer."

It has been held as an event before Brandu Hirosaki's official game in the past, but it is the first experience event. In addition to 25 junior high school students belonging to the junior team "AC Hirosaki", 3 players from the general society and Brandue Hirosaki also participated.

Start by getting used to walking invisible, and try dribbling and passing. There were some voices saying that they didn't know the position of the ball and were confused about the participants or even if they were walking straight. In the demonstration of Shinya Ueda, who belongs to Garha Aomori, he was surprised to hear from the venue when he played ahead and followed the ball.

Toshiyuki Shimatani, from Garha Aomori, said, “This team has been active for about two years, but the awareness in the Tohoku area, centered around Aomori, is still low. We are hiring for the National Athletic Meet in Aomori in 2025. I want to spread my activities even more so that I can compete.”
