At the Hirosaki Civic Center (Shimohiragincho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-32-3374), we are currently recruiting participants for the trial session “Let's play the Steinway in the large hall”.

The same project where general participants play two Steinway pianos at the Hirosaki Civic Center Large Hall with a seating capacity of 1343. It is said to be popular among users because it can be played on a concert-specific stage by installing an acoustic reflector and lighting. This year I went twice in January and August.

The Steinway piano that can be tested is the D-274 made in 1963 (Showa 38) and 2013 (Heisei 25).The 1963 made is the town association at the time when the Hirosaki Civic Center was completed in 1964. It is said that the coalition chairman, the director of the first civic center, and people involved in music donated the "oldest Steinway piano in Aomori prefecture."

Overhauls were held twice in 1983 (Showa 58) and 2014 (Heisei 26), and the second overhaul took place over a year at a factory in Hamburg, Germany, in line with the renewal of the museum to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its opening. ..

The person in charge said, "The 1963 model was called "D-274 Memorial", and some people heard a soft sound, and some people said that they had played it in the past and were nostalgic." The application will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached, so please apply early.

The date and time of the event will be January 16th from 10:00 to 17:00, 17th and 18th from 9:00 to 17:00, and 19th from 9:00 to 16:00. Participation fee is 30 minutes = 3,000 yen, 60 minutes = 5,000 yen. Applications can be received by fax and email at the Hirosaki Civic Center.
