"Akane Honma CD Debut 1st Anniversary Concert" will be held on January 19, 2020 at Inakadate Village Cultural Center (Inakadate Village, Minamitsugaru District).

Akane Honma, a folk singer and enka singer living in Hirosaki who is from Sapporo, started singing Hokkaido folk songs at the age of 9 under the influence of her grandfather and became interested in folk songs of Tsugaru while he was in college.

After graduating from university, while working as a nurse in Hirosaki City, he gained experience singing folk songs and enka at festivals and stages. In 2014 (Heisei 26), he won the 4th place in the All Japan Singing Championship "Singing King" finalist nationwide, and in 2018 (Heisei 30) the 64th Aomori folk song title. On November 4, the same year, "Esashi Onna Uta/Koi no Sakuramai/Tsugaru Koharabushi" was released from Crown Records.

"We held a mini-concert on the day of the CD release, but there were voices that we couldn't come due to the apple farming season, so we decided to stagger the 1st anniversary concert," Homma said.

On the day of the event, Homma-san's part-time job at the “Tsugaru Shamisen Live Aiya” (Hirosaki City), the owner and Tsugaru Shamisen player Kazuo Shibuya, of the 62nd Aomori folk song throne born in Hokkaido and living in Aomori. In addition to Toru Takada, there will be Tsugaru Hand Dance performed by Ria Fukushitomo and Ms. Maona of “Arata Ryuhoseikai” (Kuroishi City) and Yuta Nakamura who has won the Tsugaru Shamisen World Tournament.
