On November 10th, local children performed a calligraphy performance at the "AEON Fujisaki store" (Fujisaki-cho, Aomori, TEL 0172-75-3300) and wrote an advertisement POP.

The shopping mall celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. The calligraphy performance was started last year as part of the annual sales event “Dotto City”. At the “Clock Square” in the center of the hall, the “Japanese Education Calligraphy Association” Sakura-style calligraphy classroom in Fujisaki performed a calligraphy performance.

The classroom attracted the attention that calligraphy exhibitions such as "Japanese sake brands" and "Samurai's famous swords" were "too free". In 2017 (Heisei 29), when we exhibited a special move that appeared in the manga "Hokuto no Ken", the manga artist Tetsuo Hara contacted me and even introduced it on the official blog.

The 14 students wrote "5% off", "Thanks Day", "Houyoichi", etc. along with the music, and also "Aeon is good value", "Tax increase measures", and "Aeon is profitable" on the paper of 3 meters in height and 4 meters in width. I wrote a phrase such as "5 times the points" and "shop smart with everyone".

Junko Chiba, the manager of the store, said, “When an employee's child was attending a Sakura-style calligraphy class, I asked for it, and it was the second time this year. It is the second time this year. I am pleased to be able to provide a place for children to play an active role."

Sakurafu Miu of the Sakura-style calligraphy class said, "Even if you look at the advertisement copy that you often see, it will be noticeable if you write it by hand, and it will give you a different impression. At the same time you can enjoy the goodness of handwriting I hope you enjoy it."

The work will be on display at the Clock Square for a while.
