The "Miss Hongdae Contest 2014" was held on October 26th at Hirosaki University (Bunkyo-cho, Hirosaki City).

The Hirosaki University Cultural Festival is held every year as one of the largest university festivals in Aomori Prefecture. The Miscon is one of the highlights of the festival and is also co-sponsored with "Mr. Hongdae Contest 2014". Of the five candidates this year, two who had won the Miscon award participated in the competition, and it was talked about as “high level”.

Shonan Sato is a Miss Sakura winner of the 29th Hirosaki Castle Miss Sakura Contest and is a third year student from the Department of Economics and Management of the Faculty of Humanities from Hakodate. At Miss Sakura, he traveled to various parts of Japan to promote the sightseeing of Hirosaki City. Currently belongs to the Futsal Circle. On holidays, he often relaxes at cafes and coffee shops in the city.

Momoko Takahashi is from Kamishihoro Town, Hokkaido, and transferred to Hirosaki University from Asahikawa University this year. A third year student in the Department of Agricultural and Life Sciences, he mainly studies soybeans. He showed off a fast eating banana that he had practiced for this day on the stage, and invited him to laugh.

Reina Ono is from Mutsu and is a second year student in the Department of Humanities and Contemporary Social Studies. Belonging to the women's soccer club, the position is mainly MF (midfielder). While working part-time as a bartender, studying English because he is interested in international culture. Hirosaki says, "I like the quiet areas of the city."

Riko Sato is from Hirosaki City and is a sixth year student in the Faculty of Medicine. Participated in Miscon while studying for the exam. He has experience in classical ballet, and his dream for the future is “to become a doctor of course”. The recommender recommended that "the Showa-like, childish part is interesting".

Mayuka Chiba is from Aomori City, and is currently a third-year student in the Department of Contemporary Social Studies, Faculty of Humanities, currently working as Miss Clean Rice Aomori. He is also active as a manager of the softball baseball club "Meets" and has been published in "Aomori Bishoujo Encyclopedia".

Riko Sato was chosen as the grand prix from the five candidates. "Thanks to everyone who has taken care of me," and as a prize, Disney Tickets wants to go with the recommenders when the exams and graduation thesis have settled down. Momoko Takahashi won the audience special prize. This resulted in the turmoil that those who had experience with Miscon did not win the prize.
