Hirosaki University Faculty of Medicine will hold "Medical Exhibition 2014" at the Hirosaki University Cultural Festival which will be held from October 24th to 26th.

The costume will also be produced, aiming to attract more customers.

Students take part in the exhibition from planning to preparation. "There are many repeaters who come every year, so it is necessary to devise it so as not to get tired," this year we prepared various new projects. At the event booth, which will be set up for the first time, we will utilize the experience of Mr. Park, who was enrolled in the Faculty of Sports Science at Waseda University, to experience taping and icing when spraining or bruising. There will also be a corner where you can check for "locomotive syndrome," which increases the risk of nursing care due to weakened exercise equipment.

The obstetrics and gynecology booth will have a corner for the first time to touch the actual breast cancer that has been removed. "I have a breast cancer self-examination class every year, but I wanted to make it more familiar," said the booth staff. In addition, we are currently shooting a drama with the theme of sex education, which is scheduled to be shown. The content will convey the importance of contraception.

At the emergency booth, there will be an experience corner for operating a cardiovascular catheter under the supervision of an active physician. Although this is the first attempt, it seems that all heart and coronary models are handmade. This year is the 10th anniversary of the general public's ability to use the AED, so I asked for the AED experience as well as the "Reduce and Sudden Death Project" to sponsor it. In the corner where you can check vital signs required in case of emergency, we made it possible to use the simulated triage tag as a recording sheet for a realistic experience while showing the scene of the emergency taken by ourselves.

The exhibition had issues such as "the contents were too rich and visitors were at a loss", so we will place a guide to introduce each booth from this year. Pre-events also open. At the event space on the 3rd floor of Hiroro (ekimaecho), you will be able to experience the booths and workshops on the 13th and 19th. On the day of the event, in addition to presenting the "Original Eco-Cairo" with the "Kokoroinu" sticker, a plan is also planned such as co-starring Hirosaki City's mascot character "Takamaru-kun" and "Kokoroinu".
